Looks good BUT rear drum brakes and lack of 6th gear are something to think
about. I had a 2008 m50 for some time and it gets very high revved (buzzy)
at highway speeds. Vibrations are pretty nasty.
Recently bought a new honda ctx700 and it is a great all around bike. (even
though I like the look of the new M50 better)
If suzuki should ever decide to make the m50 perfect (add 6th gear and disc
brakes) I would think about buying another.

I had a 2009 C50 for over a year and was quite pleased with it.
However, for speeds over 60 mph I would not recommend.
It desperately needs a 6th gear or a higher ration gear box. I guess Suzuki
is hoping those buyers will move into the C90 bike..but that is just too
big for most women.
SO, I ended up getting a Yamaha 950 and could not be happier. Nice power
range and not that constant buzzing at speeds over 60mph.
IF Suzuki should ever put a 6th gear in the c50 or change the gearing I
would consider getting another C50. Thanks

Needs a 6th gear or higher ratio gearing. Test rode 2 weeks ago. Went with
the honda ctx700 (6 speed) sport cruiser

The front faring around the headlight looks odd. I’ll keep my Shadow 750.

offset crankpins…I’ve seen CAT diesel V-engine cranks that do that. I
guess they work.

I know someone who drilled holes in the baffles of an M109. God, it really
sounds like crap. He should have just left it stock. His best bet would
have been replacing the OEM air filter.

Actually a nice bike BUT needs 6th gear or Different gearing to lower RPM’s
at highway speed.

They are truly crap bikes. No power, heavy, horrible fit and finish, just
total and complete garbage. I’m no Harley guy, but why do people buy these
instead?

*goes by. How the fuck is my grammar the “dumbest sounding bike I’ve ever
heard?” I think your logic needs some re-calibrating.

There’s a guy who goes my work every day with a strightpiped M109. That is
the dumbest sounding bike i’ve ever heard.
